13 September 2012 — 14 September 2012
Ghent University
Howest (University College West Flanders) and Ghent University are proud to announce the International Symposium on Advanced Waste Heat Valorisation Technologies, hosted by Howest in Kortrijk on 13 and 14 September 2012.
Participants will have the opportunity to get a unique update on the state of the art of advanced technologies for industrial waste heat upgrading: Organic Rankine Cycles for electricity production and High Temperature Heat Pumps for process heat at higher temperatures. The invited speakers are specialists in their field and will cover aspects such as the current market situation, technological advances, issues specific to the integration of the technology in industry and news directly from research and development centers. In parallel, companies are invited to showcase their products and services in short presentations or during the exhibition at the same location.
Registrations are now open. For information about fees and conditions, please consult http://www.wasteheat.eu/registration.html
For participants requiring accommodation during the symposium days, we have negotiated special rates at selected hotels in Kortrijk for 12, 13 and 14 September. We recommend that you secure your room as soon as possible, as the number of rooms set aside for us is limited. Free cancellation and payment on departure are part of the negotiated conditions. You will receive details on how to obtain the symposium rates in the message upon registration.
