Teagasc Grass Reseeding Events 2025

A series of grass reseeding events nationwide, will take place during April and early May. These are being organised by the Grass10 Team in conjunction with Clover150 and the Teagasc Knowledge Transfer team.

These 11 reseeding events will focus on:

  • Machinery & over-sowing demonstration
  • Seedbed preparation and post sowing management
  • Suitable summer stocking rate to enable reseeding
  • Choosing grass and clover varieties

John Maher, Head of the Teagasc Grass10 programme said; “Reseeding will increase the overall productivity of the farm. It will allow higher animal output per hectare relative to permanent pasture. Producers are also using the reseeding operation to establish uniform clover swards. I would encourage all farmers to come along to one of these grass reseeding events to get the latest and most up to date information.“
