CASSINI, best transfer startup in the Community of Madrid according to the IPfest Awards

The company CASSINI, a member of the Business Incubation and Acceleration Program of the Center for Innovation in Entrepreneurship and Artificial Intelligence (C3N-IA) of the Science Park of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), has received recognition as the best transfer startup in the Community of Madrid at the IPfest 2024 Awards. This startup specializes in geopolitical analysis, strategic intelligence and cartographic production.

The third installment of these national awards for knowledge transfer was held simultaneously in 12 cities in Spain, with categories ranging from technology startups to disruptive patents and scientific communication projects. In Madrid it took place at the Teatros Luchana, organized by IPinnovation with the support of Qsimov, El Punto Genuino, ekodo, Dedomena AI and Bolboreta Innova Group.

The main mission of these awards is to recognize and encourage the work of those individuals and entities that succeed in transforming the knowledge generated in universities and research centers into practical and valuable solutions for society.

The award given to CASSINI not only celebrates technological innovation, but also highlights the ability of the humanities and social sciences to lead technological and transformative projects, highlighting, in this case, the importance of disciplines such as geography and geopolitics in an increasingly interconnected global context.

CASSINI is a company specialized in geopolitical analysis, strategic intelligence and cartographic production in various fields, such as natural resources, economic development, migration, climate change, cyberspace, security and land management, among others. It also acts as a bridge between academia and the professional world, providing expertise in the development of risk analysis, territorial diagnoses and strategic recommendations of great value for decision making and communication of any company, organization or institution. They have experience in various regions of the world, including Europe, the Post-Soviet Space, the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and the United States.

Testimonios

We have used AlphaGalileo since its foundation but frankly we need it more than ever now to ensure our research news is heard across Europe, Asia and North America. As one of the UK’s leading research universities we want to continue to work with other outstanding researchers in Europe. AlphaGalileo helps us to continue to bring our research story to them and the rest of the world.
Peter Dunn, Director of Press and Media Relations at the University of Warwick
AlphaGalileo has helped us more than double our reach at SciDev.Net. The service has enabled our journalists around the world to reach the mainstream media with articles about the impact of science on people in low- and middle-income countries, leading to big increases in the number of SciDev.Net articles that have been republished.
Ben Deighton, SciDevNet
