Aston University has welcomed a delegation from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NAUU) to its Birmingham campus to explore developing teaching and research collaborations.

The delegation, led by Professor Jiang Bing, president of NAUU, was facilitated by AEMG Education’s general director, Jenny Wang, who has over 20 years of experience in brokering strategic relationships with Chinese universities.

The event on Tuesday 24 September was hosted by Professor Aleks Subic, Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of Aston University at the University’s corporate headquarters, John Cadbury House, in Birmingham city centre. The delegates also enjoyed a tour around the laboratories of the University’s College of Engineering and Physical Sciences.

During the visit, they also met with senior members of the University Executive, including Professor Mike Caine (Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Engagement and Innovation), Professor Gurpreet Jagpal (Chief Commercial Officer), Professor Jun Jie Wu (Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research) and Matt Dean (Executive Director of International).
