Building on the successful 2020 event, FTW 2025 will once again bring together innovators, researchers, and key stakeholders for a week of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and networking opportunities. The event is designed for deep-tech projects to showcase their achievements foster meaningful connections, and stimulate synergies among EIC-funded projects, external experts, and the broader research and innovation community.

Participants will be able to choose from five different formats to present their work: project presentation, webinar, workshop, networking session, and panel discussion. The different options ensure every participant the opportunity to best engage with their goals. Additionally, it will serve as a hub for stakeholders from diverse backgrounds – investors, universities, accelerators, and medical centres – to come together, explore, and drive the adoption of transformative technologies and innovations that will pave the way for future breakthroughs in deep tech.

To help participants navigate the event and make the most of their involvement, two dedicated Info Days will be held. The first session on January 29th will focus on introducing FTW 2025 and providing guidance on submitting event proposals.

The second Info Day will be held on February 19th to cover event promotion strategies and present a communication kit.

We have used AlphaGalileo since its foundation but frankly we need it more than ever now to ensure our research news is heard across Europe, Asia and North America. As one of the UK’s leading research universities we want to continue to work with other outstanding researchers in Europe. AlphaGalileo helps us to continue to bring our research story to them and the rest of the world.
Peter Dunn, Director of Press and Media Relations at the University of Warwick
AlphaGalileo has helped us more than double our reach at SciDev.Net. The service has enabled our journalists around the world to reach the mainstream media with articles about the impact of science on people in low- and middle-income countries, leading to big increases in the number of SciDev.Net articles that have been republished.
Ben Deighton, SciDevNet
AlphaGalileo is a great source of global research news. I use it regularly.
